Is Intake Of Diary Products Safe While On Cipro Denk 500?

I am currently taking Cipro Denk 500 and i know it says that I should not eat dairy products with this medication. However, I bought a sandwich this morning for breakfast and it had in cheese...which I found out after taking almost 2 bites. i immediately removed the cheese and had the rest of my sandwich. 5 minutes after, I took the Cipro. Will anything happen to me? I am really scared because the box says not to consume dairy products or antacids with this medication.

hi sir/mam,just relax.nothing is going to happen.let me explain you in detail.when the dairy products like milk,youghurt,cheese,icecream,cream are consumed with or very close to the dosing of your cipro(within 1hr before or after),these products bind to the drug and decrease its absorption thereby decreasing the effectiveness.so,please eat or drink the above dairy products as far apart from your dose of this medicine as possible.you are not going to experience any illness if you take them combinedly.hope my explanation is clear enough to allay your apprehension.thank you.if any further doubts,you are welcome.take care.bye.
