Is Intake Of Liquid Flush Cleaner Followed By Vomiting A Cause For Concern?

I have drank 2 to 3 sips of harpic last night and vomited by 1 hour. After that I slept and got up morning. I do not feel any symptoms and I am absolutely alright now. I just want to know whether there will be in effects in my later stage. I want to know what to have and what not to have also. I am a girl of 22 years. Kindly help me

Hello,

I will suggest you not to worry as you did vomit out the contents after almost 1 hour. usually if this remains inside stomach it causes harm to lower esophagus and distal end of stomach (pylorus). you should keep an eye on heart burn, for which you can take omeprazole 20 mg twice a day before meals. in long term very remote possibility is that you can get narrowing of esophagus or you may get your stomach outlet blocked due to damage of that part. but as you are pain free even next day , the possibility of such long term complication is very rare.
