Hi
Thanks for trusting healthcaremagic for your health issues.

Seizure treatments are usually of longer duration and cumbersome which leads to loss of patient compliance. Seizure treatment with medications are not stopped till 3 years of last seizure episode.
Taking regular doses of medication without missing a single dose is utmost important in this therapy.
So in your case your daughter might have missed few doses or even for a month. Lamotrigin is good choice for seizure with maniac condition. From now onwards you keep watch on doses of lamotrigine.
Besides you take appointment of treating physician, if he/she want to add another drug for short term period.

Regards
Dr. Hiren
