Is Irritability A Side Effect Of Wellbutrin?

yes. My husband, almost 75 is now take Wellbutrin, 75 mg 1 time a day for the past 8 days. Starting on day 11 he s to take a 2nd dose in the early afternoon. He s seemed easier & more agreeable in the morning over the past several days. Now the past couple of days he s very irritable, cranky & accusing me of things that aren t true. He has Parkinson s, flat look, balance problems, freezing & some dementia. Is his behavior a side affect of Wellbutrin this soon?

Hi

Dryness in mouth, Taste change, Abdominal pain, Nausea, anxiety, sweating,insomnia,impaired concentration,tremor,constipation and fever are some of the side effects of the drug.

Since the drug increases anxiety and sleeplessness,irritability may also occur.

You have mentioned about parkinsonism. Whether any drugs have been taken has not been prescribed.Follow up of parkinsonism and treating the symptoms is essential.
