Is Irritation In Gums And Green Coloured Stools In Breastfed Infant A Sign Of Worry?

Hi, My baby is five month four days old. ususlly he passes motion in every three to four days but since today morning he has passed three motions which were green in color with fuzzs n bad odour. Apart from breastfeed i also give him dal water. He is also having irritation kind of in his gums and keeps chewing every thing.
Pls suggest if it is some thing to worry or shpuld we wait for some more time before going to see some doc.

Increased frequency of foul smelling stools and its green color signifies that some infection has taken place in the stomach.

Stool culture and sensitivity to be done to know the exact bug causing the infection.

And according to the stool culture report the child to be treated with relevant antibiotic.

Please consult your paed for exact management of the problem.
