Is It A Matter Of Concern If Having Benign Calcifications In Breast, Bleeding In Nipple, Fibrocystic Breast Tissue?
I had a mammogram 3 weeks ago and it showed benign calcifications. My doctor recommended another mammogram in 6 months; however, I have noticed spots of blood from my nipple on my gown and the inside of my bra. When I pressed on my breast to see if I could feel a lump, a drop of blood oozed from my nipple. I have fibrocystic breast tissue. Should I be concerned?
Bleeding from the nipple is concerning for possible malignant lesions in the breast. So it safe to get a biopsy done. Please follow up with your doctor for the same.
