Is It A Must Process For Taking Radio Iodine If

Is it a must process for taking radio iodine if the hyperthyroid condition constantly around the range of 24.xx with medicine taken?

slight info: Found thyroid issue since late 2008. Taken 21pills per day make me felt I'm eating medicine more than 3meals per day. that's make me depression and refused to take medicine. Until Dec 2009, one night I suffered from irregular heart beat pumping fast, hard to breath, back bones pain, and muschles pain. Went to A&E took an injection of steroid. Hospitalisation for a day and discharge. Visited a specilist doc since 2010 and till 2012, medicine dose kept on in a gradually improvement. As doc told before, within 2years get controled. And stop for medicine as adviced to monitor the thyroid cycle of mine. One and another month, its relapsed. March-May 2014, my relationship doesn't goes well ans broken off with ex. That's make me emotionally unstable and one day after night class back from uni. My skin started itchy and the whole body felt hot and itchy. The next day went to my thyroid specialist doc. He told me that I have allergy reaction on current medicine. So he change to ptu propylthioucil 50mg. But the result still not good as doc mention. So he suggested me go for radioiodine.

To seek another opinion, I went back hometown for seeing doc. Currently, last night the doc said in hashed attitude and giving me emotional stress. As when I told him is my bp related to current thyroid condition. He 9nly mention he is more focus on advice me go for radioiodine intake others its not his concern. Recently, I took a full body check up the bp is 113/52. Quite recent months my bp is between 90/60, 80/50.

My concern is, if radioiodine is harmless then why I need to avoid pragnent women or kids?
2nd- all the doc said natural hormon intake if the radioiodine over kill the thyroid gland. What's the natural hormon made from?

Is there a must go for radioiodine? Can't I just stick on the medication?

if compare to initial thyroid stage, my heart beats sometimes beat faster which I can feel it. But today when the doc argue with me, he answer me that because I already get used to it so I didn't feel my heart beat faster When I told him that I didn't suffer much from heart beat fast Compare with previous experience. The way he answer, only make me feel uncomfortable with this person and feeling anti of seeing doc, and feel stress as kept pressure on radioiodine procedure. I know its standard treatment protocol. As he gave me the answer that my heart will over working as this hyperthyroid problems for years.

if I can avoid or release from stress, maintain peaceful mind.
I didn't see any problem from now. Cause my menses is very regular 28days cycle. My weight maintain between 57.8-58kg. My height is 165cm.

Kindly advice me.

Sorry for the long winded mails.

Thanks and awqiting for your prompt reply.

Best regards,
