Is It A Part Of Healing Process To Have A Tender Bump On Index Finger Knuckle?

i cut myself on my index finger knuckle a couple weeks ago, the cut healed fine but i hit my finger a couple times since, there seems to be a slight bump under the skin doesn't hurt when i touch it but it's tender enough that i wouldn't knock on a door with it. Is this normal

Hi,

Yes, during the process of healing there will be inflammatory reaction and slight swelling may be there. Due to repeated trauma this might have taken long time to heal. Give rest and it will heal. If it does not heal in 7 to 10 days of complete rest then consult your doctor once for examination.
