Is It A Pulled Hamstring Which Causes Sharp Pain And Cramping In The Back Of The Thigh Followed By Soreness And Swelling?

I had a sudden sharp pain and cramping feeling in the back of my thigh this afternoon and was unable to straighten my leg for a short period of time. Pain subsided to a dull ache but this evening it is now quite sore and swollen. I m thinking pulled hamstring.

It can be a strain i hamstring muscle. I would suggest you to take Myospaz tablet twice daily. Also apply diclofenec ointment and warm water fomentaion. Avoid running or standing. Reston bed with your knee bend.
