Is It Abnormal To Have 13000 Wbc?
My husband has 13000 wbc ,Neutrophil 80,Lymphocytes 16, Monocytes 02 and Esr 59, blood culture report is normal. He is normal now. Since his wbc is high, i am scared.pl advise

My dear friend , no need to be worry .Your friend's wbc count is raised , neutrophils are slightly increased (Normal wbc is 4000 to 11000/mm3 and normal Neutrophils in percentage is 40-75%) and E.S.R is raised(normal is 0 to 12) .
It is looking due to infection.
I advice you to complete antibiotic course like Cefixime 200 mg twice a day for 5 days. After then repeat your friend wbc with peripheral blood film.He should take plenty of fluids.
He will be fine soon.
