Is It Advisable To Take 25 Mg Of Hydrochlorothiazide For Swollen Feet?

I am a stage 5 crk kidney problem. I am taking insulin Lantus and humulog. I notice that my feet is a little bit swollen. I used to take hydrochlorothiazide and furosemide. But the doctor stop my hydrochlorothiazide, so wondering if i can take 1 tablet 25 mg of this medication to lessen the swelling. My creatine is 400plus and potassium is high too

Yes, Hydrochlorthiazide is used to decrease swelling in legs. It also helps to decrease the levels of high potassium

You can restart at 12.5mg, you should monitor blood pressure while you add this, as it can reduce blood pressure as well.

This is a prescription drug and addition of drug, adjustment of the dose should be under doctor's supervision.
