Is It Advisable To Take Octreotide Injection With Controlled Ileostomy?

hello, I was in the hospital recently for dehydration due to the large output of my ileostomy. I was put on Octreocide injections that I do at home. However I am coming to the end of my months supply provided by the hospital and I understand that this is an expensive drug with or without insurance. My doctor will renew my prescription, but I don t know if I will be able to afford it due to my disability status and wondering if the manufacturer has a program available to assist. I am getting tremendous results with this and the fluid output is drastically decreased and my ostomy is completely manageable now. I would like assistance on maintaining the use of the Octreocide. Thank you Marion Miner
