Is It Alright To Get Heart Skips And Fluttering Of Chest?

I am a 27 y/o male and have been to a cardiologist once a year since I was 18. I have had blood tests, calcium score tests and stress tests that have always come back normal. I go thru periods where I get heart skips or a fluttering my chest. I can normally attribute it to caffeine or nerves but it is very unsettling. It is not associated with pain, dizziness or fainting. I am told it is nothing to be concerned over.

Is that correct?

Welcome to HCM

Yes / Correct

If very troublesome, HOLTER (24 to 48 hour ambulatory monitoring) / ECHOcardiogram / TMT (Treadmill exercise ECG) / LABORATORY work-up – may all be necessary for further assessment and assistance.
If it is interfering with life style, you may even need Electro Physiological Studies (EPS)

The treating doctor may suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation.
