Is It Cervical Cancer If Feeling Crampy, Achy After Intercourse And Bleed After Smear Test?
I have been diagnosed with cervical ectropian, every time I have smear test I bleed, I have had to go back for a smear due to inadequate cells. Since being asked back I have had 3 very short periods in the space of 3 weeks (2 days long) and they seem to come after having sex either straight after or the following day. The last time I received an abnormal smear was in 2002, I have also been feeling very crampy and achy and intercourse is uncomfortable. Do you think I am developing cervical cancer or is it the ectropian causing all of this?
HELLO DEAR I have gone through your question, dear spotting after smear taken is normal , since you have to go back for smear again and again you can go for HPV DNA testing , and now you are complaining post coital bleeding you must consult your doctor immediately and you go colposcopy and colposcopy directed biopsy to rule out CIN which is preinvasive disease develops before carcinoma develops so that timely nature of disease can be assesed and accordingly treatment can be given. All the best Thanks
