Is It Dangerous To Feel Arythmical Heartbeats?

Hi, I am taking Citalopram at 40 mg per day. I have been too late and too early a couple of times during the past week and forgot my pill this morning (took it around 5 pm). I feel arythmical heartbeats. Is that dangerous? How much should my pulse be? Marianne

Dear Marianne,
Don't worry. Occasional arrhythmic heartbeats are not dangerous and can happen in any healthy person. Normal heart rate is from 60 to 100 bpm, but it can vary, be a little bit slower during rest and sleep, and little higher during exercise and stress situations.

Hope this was helpful for you

Wishing you good health
