Many people have thyroid nodules and it is not necessary to be worried if you have thyroid nodule(single or multiple) unless the biopsy report says that they are malignant. The Thyroid nodules may be benign or malignant and one need to worry if the nodules are growing in size (which can be proved by repeating Ultrasound at interval) In most of cases less than 20% nodules may be malignant(proved by histopathology report) It is only malignant thyroid nodules which are matter of concern. So please go ahead and get a repeat Ultrasound done which will remove your worries.
