Is It Difficult To Conceive Post Having A Depot Shot?

Hi I have a question for my friend . She got an thing called a depo shot ? --and she only got one, she s now wants to get pregnant. She got the shot about 3 months ago and has had her period 3x already . what are her chances of getting pregnant fast ? And what could she do to help ? And how long could it take ? I m just trying to help .

Depo shot is a contraceptive method for women. It’s made of a hormone similar to progesterone.

It's a shot that a doctor gives you in the arm or buttocks. Each shot works for up to 12 to 14 weeks, but you must get the injection once every 12 weeks to get its full protection. It is 99% effective in preventing pregnancy.

It is possible to become pregnant in about 3 to 4 months after the last shot. But in some women, it takes up to a year or 2 to conceive after they stop using this type of birth control.
