Is It Essential For A Thyroid Patient With Presently Normal Thyroid Reports To Continue With Thyronorm 100mcg ?

hello doctor

My wife having thyroid problem.But last week we had a blood test and the report is saing all results in within the range(T3,T4,TSH).She use to take 100 mcg thyronorm.Now doctor still recommending to take 87.5 mcg thyronorm.

Is it required? And also 87.5 mcg is available in thronorm or any other companies are available.Pls give your feedback

Hi...yes it is essential for her to take thyronorm as it is required to keep the levels normal coz the gland is not functioning adequately... else she will again become hypothyroid...and yes thyronorm is available in that dose...
