Is It Essential To Complete The Prescribed Medicines For TB?

Dear doctor, I have done with fnac test for swelling on the neck resulting Granulomatous lymphadenitis ,I don t have symptoms like fatigue, waight loss, caught & fever but doctors advised that to go for 9 months medicines of T.B.. I m now 10 weeks of gestation, is it necessary to take the medicine kindly advice.....

Yes, it is essential to complete all doses of drugs for TB infection. Taking all of it properly will help treat your TB infection completely. If not there is high chance of getting resistant TB and you will have to take drugs again and put people around you in risk of getting infected. Completing all the doses is a right thing to do for your health and community wellness.
