Is It Good To Mix Spoonful Of Cerelac Or Other Nutritious Powder With Milk And Feed My Infant?
Is it good to mix spoonful of cerelac or other nutritious powder with milk and feed baby after he/she is 3 months old ? Somebody said that growing baby seek more of feedings and this help baby stay full for longer time. I am working mother so wont be able to provide my milk within interval of 2 hrs
Before 6 months of age its recommended to just give Milk as the babies are not ready to accept the solid or semisolid feeds in terms of their body and development. It can be hard but its for the best interest of babies. There are some high calorie formulas available if the baby is needing more milk to maintain their requirements but I would suggest an evaluation before starting those as well.
If your baby is going in the right direction with the recommended feed. You can get breast feeding support or Express milk that can be stored in fridge for 1-2 days and in freezer for longer duration.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
