Is It Harmful To Press Baby S Soft Spot?

I was trying to turn my 3 month old baby s head to avoid having a flat head. While doing that i accidentally put pressure on the softspot. Base of my thump (fleshy part) pressed against soft spot. Baby did not react to it at all. She ate and went to bed. Next morning she was normal but slept a bit more during the day. I am worried i hurt her.

hi
thanks for posting in HCM
i have understand your concern
pressing over the soft spot (anterior fontanelle) , if it is high pressure definitely it ll affect the baby and your baby not reacted at the time of episode .
excessive sleep may be just coincident after the pressing
nothing serious and no need to worry

i can suggest you not to practice any thing like pressing without doctors advice

hope this helps you
thanks
