Dear Amarjot, Welcome to HealthcareMagic!
Dark circles around eye ( periorbital hypermelanosis ) is a very common & difficult to treat problem. Besides hereditary, it can be idiopathic, or due to anemia (iron or folic acid/Vit. B12 deficiency), atopic diathesis (allergic shine), stress etc., to name a few. Please consult a dermatologist for evaluation & treatment according to its cause
Hi!Amarjot,
Welcome to HealthacerMagic forum,
Dark circles are multi factorial..and is definitely a challenge to treat. Hereditary factor, lack of sleep, iron deficiency, vit deficiency, atopic ds,stress, etc may lead to dark circles.First thing is start using a good spf suncreen daily esp when going out in sun.You can take chemical peels for the same.Consult a good dermatologist who can rule out the above thing and help you reduce it.
take care,

hi greetings from health care magic
Dark circle around the eye is a very general problem but not necessarily hereditary. lack of sleep, over mental stress, tiredness, lack of sufficient fluid, sun exposure etc. It has multi factorial etilogy. so first place take sufficient rest and apply some sun screen lotion and besides that if you would like consult for homeopathy treatment. thank you
Hello,
Dark circles under the eyes can be hereditary and thus if it runs in the family, very little can be done. Vitamin B6 (Niacin) & folic acid deficiency can also lead to this problem and thus can be taken. Some allergens can also give rise to the same and thus need to be avoided. Lack of adequate sleep can also result in dark circles and thus advised to take adequate sleep. Apply cool tea bags, an ice cube wrapped in soft cloth, or cucumber slices to your eyes daily. Apply an eye cream containing vitamin K and retinol. Eat a healthy, balanced diet, take vitamins, and drink plenty of water.
Hope it helps you. Regards.
