Is It Likely I Have Coronavirus After Being Exposed To A Friend Who Tested Positive, Even Though I M Only Experiencing Sniffles
Hi! Recently a friend in school i know got covid, at lunch i always talked with him for more then 15 minutes without a mask on..... a couple days later I ve been feeling kinda sniffley. No fever, no cough, no lost of taste or smell. Im also asthmatic, and over weight with borderline hypertension. Is it likely I have covid? Im getting tested but i wanted an opinion before i do.
Since contact with a known case of Coronavirus is there, it is advisable for her to get tested for it. Being with risk factors such as bronchial asthma and borderline hypertension, I would advise to go for Coronavirus testing.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Grace, General & Family Physician
