Is It Necessary To Operate The Fibroid On Outer Wall Of Uterus That Had Increased During Pregnancy ?

Hi ....im having fibroid on outter wall of utreus its 5cm..during pregnancy its increased... Now im having one yr old baby is it necessary to operate...at present im getting my cycles regularly no problem til now.. Can i join any tummy tuck and weight loss program without operated.... Pls answer...

Hi there thanks for posting your query at HCM
See dear as you are saying that the size of the myoma ( fibroid ) increase during pregnancy so now it must be greater than 5 cm. It might pose a problem in next pregnancy on the developing fetus . So I advice you before you undertake any weight control program it is better that you take second opinion of your treating gynecologist for laparoscopic ablation or if they recommend to treat medically ( by giving drugs like GnRH analogues , that are used in in fertility and to reduce the size of fibroid).
