Is It Necessary To Take Pill After Having Sex Without Penetration?

Hi I m 20 years old and I am a virgin. Although I m not sure if my hymn is broken or not from tampons etc… My boyfriend rubbed his bare penis on my bare vulva and there might have been fingering involved. I am panicking because I decided to google about pregnancy from that and most posts on yahoo or any website said it is possible though unlikely if there was precum, which I m sure there was, and he pushed it in with his finger and if there was direct contact, which there was. There was no penetration though, we did not have sex. I want to know if it is possible to be pregnant and if I should take the morning after pill just in case. I know most people that Ive talked too have said its possible but because its highly difficult there is no need for the pill but id rather be safe than sorry. Should I consider the pill? and if so, how harmful is it?

Hi and welcome to HCM. I always advice mos of the young people of your age to use condoms to protect yourself from pregnancy and also from any infections. First thing i wont promote or support premarital sex, anyway its your life and u decide what good and wrong. In your case their is chances of pregnancy and its better if u take some emergency contraceptive pills and it should be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sexual intercourse to be effective. Their is no harm if its the first time and please dont repeatedly take these medications. Precum does contains sperms and be safe then sorry. Condoms are always better than pills. Regards
