Is It Normal For A Stich To Open With Some Oozing After A Laproscopic Hysterectomy?
Hi I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy last Monday and have been light spotting here and there. Today however I have period like cramps and bleeding is this normal. I also have a stitch that came out and I have some oozing from there that I have been cleaning often. Should I be in panic mode
There is possibility of infection ,so you need to keep close watch on pain ,fever, pus discharge. Right now no need to panic,it can be just oozing.
Clinical examination is required to confirm that. Ultrasonography can be done if clinically required. Till time you can start medication and antibiotic. He may require IV antibiotic if not resolving.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
