Is It Normal For An Infant To Take Miralax For Three Months?
My daughter had a terrible stomach ache, brought her to the doctor, had xray and found out she had a bad constipation, she told me to give her Miralax for 3 months, but whenI read the bottle it says do not take for more than 7 days is it okey for a 7 year old to take Miralax for 3 months?

Thanks for the question. I think you can stop miralax especially if there is no constipation now. Also its not a good idea to take any treatment for constipation continously as it can make child dependant. Kindly change dietary habits as follows.
1. Include green leafy vegetables.
2. Increase fibre by means of guava,oranges.
3. Plenty fluids.
4. Avoid junk foods.
if constipation recurrs try syrup lactulose for 5 days.
