Is It Normal For Swelling In Occipital Lymph Node To Last Long After Mono?

Hi,
About two years ago I noticed that I had swelling in my left occipital lymph node and also in the node on the left side of my neck directly beneath my jaw. My doctor performed blood tests and determined that I had mono. The lymph nodes have remained swollen, they're probably a bit larger than 1 cm each, ever since. I have returned to my doctor and after simply feeling the nodes, she told me that I had nothing to worry about. The occipital node still worries me, as it feels fixed and immovable. Is it common for swelling to last long after mono and should I have one of these nodes biopsied? Thank you.
