Is It Normal To Be On Oxygen 24 Hours A Day With A Paralysed Diaphragm?

It is normal to be on oxygen 24 hours a day with a paralysed diaphragm and unable to hold objects without dropping them and falling asleep randomly? My father was just diagnosed with this on Friday and came home from hospital on Monday with full oxygen. I feel his symptons have gonna worse since he returned home.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern for your father looking to the history given here I could say that your father might not having the normal respiratory function and so why he is on the life support or oxygen unless the spontaneous respiratory function returns and the saturation comes to the normal he would be on oxygen, hope this information helps you have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
