Is It Normal To Experience Brown Vaginal Discharge While Suffering From Constipation?

Hi, I’ve been constipated for around five days with few bowel movements. Today, I have noticed I’ve got brown vaginal discharge. I don’t usually get brown vaginal discharge and I’m wondering if there is any link between the two? I also have a bloated stomach.

Hello,

The vaginal discharge and constipation have got no relation.

The symptoms are more consistent with infective causes like yeast or bacterial vaginosis. Consult a gynecologist and plan for a vaginal swab to confirm the diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
