Hi,

It is not uncommon to experience some irregular bleeding or spotting when starting a new birth control pill, especially during the first few months of use. This can be due to hormonal changes in the body as it adjusts to the new medication.

In your case, starting a new birth control pill and having sex for the first time could both be factors contributing to the early bleeding. It is also possible that your menstrual cycle is just naturally shorter than 28 days, and the earlier bleeding is your period.

If you continue to experience irregular bleeding or spotting while on the birth control pill, it is recommended that you speak with your healthcare provider. They may recommend switching to a different type of birth control pill or adjusting your current dosage to help regulate your menstrual cycle. It is important to continue taking the pill as prescribed, even if you experience some irregular bleeding, to ensure maximum effectiveness in preventing pregnancy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
