Hi, Im 17 years old and 7 months ago i got surgery on my knee for a torn acl i think it was about 90 % torn, but its been 7 months now and when i bend my knee, i hear multiple cracks or popping sounds everytime i bend it. Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us,

I have studied your case with diligence.

Usually there is no such sound after surgery I will advise to consult your treating doctor for clinical examination.

You need to do proper physiotherapy protocol after surgery to strengthen your quadriceps and hamstring muscles.

Knee support like knee cap or hinged knee brace may be helpful,

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.
