Is It Normal To Get Stinging And Tingling Sensation After A Bug Bite?
Last Sunday, I thought a bug had bit me because I felt some itching on my leg. I reached down and felt a knot under the skin. I looked and saw the beginning of a bruise. It was stinging and tingling. I m pretty sure a blood vessel had burst . Today, one week later, I still have a dark bruise and it still feels a little tender. Are these normal?

As you describe, it appears to be the bulls eye, swelling of limes disease. It may or may not be but it should be excluded. The other reasons may be the leak of the blood due to a sting, or a bite.
