It has become a prob again over the last 12 mths. last Tuesday I had further surgery where they removed an other bit of cartilage from the hyoid bone - apparently it went well. Im at home recovering - no temp but its very sore to swallow and my epiglottis is black..... should i be concerned?
Hi thanks for your query. Yes it is normal to have sore in epiglottis and blackish epiglottis after surgery. It is because of haematoma post surgically. Consult doctor if symptoms persists. Thanks.
