I had my adenoids out 8 days ago. It was my second time first was when I was 8. This time I am 25. I have a lot of mucus still since the surgery and still have a sore throat but it's not too bad. My concern is I still have blood in my mucus. Is this normal?
No it is not normal and indicates that there may be an infection setting in. please dont delay and meet your doctor, he will examine you and do the needful. please do not blow your nose, as it may increase the bleeding. Take care
