Is It Normal To Have Brown Spotting After Taking Depo Provera?
I have a large fibroid with nodules. My NP gave me the depo provera shot to stop the bleeding 06/05/12. I have had constant red to dark brown spotting every day since. Is this normal. Im awaiting health insurance that will be effective in November for a hysterectomy
The spotting you are having is because of hormone withdrawal. Get an endometrial biopsy or office endoscopy done to see whether your endometrium normal or abnormal then go for hysterectomy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
