Is It Normal To Have Dark Brown Chicken Pox Around The Forehead?

Is it normal to have dark brown chicken pox around the forehead, stomach and legs? Hes not sure if its dry either.. how can someone tell if its dry? Also his scrotum area has bumps that are dark brown and sore with a burning sensation. is this normal?
