Is It Normal To Have Dark Brown Periods With Cramps After Having D&C?

Hello, I had a D&C on Aug 29 and have had regular periods each consecutive month on the 30th for three days. However, this month, it just came today and it very dark brown with little bleeding. I have also had cramps this entire month. Do you suggest I schedule an appointment? I am trying to get pregnant.
