Is It Normal To Have Delayed Period After A Scratch?

Hi, I had an endometrial scratch on 13 Oct and while I was ovulating around the same time we tried as well. I am very regular with my periods and get it on 24 of every month. I haven t got it yet this month. Is it normal to have delayed period after a scratch? Should I get a pregnancy test done?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to hcm,
Delayed periods could be because of many reasons like stress, hormonal imbalance etc.. I advise you to wait for few days you may get your periods. If you still want to confirm you can get urine pregnancy test preferably early morning sample after a week of missed periods or serum bhcg levels which is more accurate in diagnosing early pregnancy.

Thank you
