Is It Normal To Have Headache And Nausea After Starting With Paxil?
Hi, I m 24 yrs old and I just started taking paxil to treat a chemical imbalance. I recently just got over the stomach flu and then started taking paxil. I m having some head pain and nausea and I was wondering if I should stop taking it and call my doctor or if that s normal when you re starting it or anything.......
hi thanks for using health care magic. these are the few side effects of Paxil. its frequency can be decrease if started with low dose and then gradually increasing the dose. if these side effects are troubling you then you can change the drug to other drug of same or different class for the same indication. M ost of the time these can subside with time also you can try PPI ( omeprazole / rabeprazole) and anti emetics to control the nausea. Thanks.
