Is It Normal To Have Low Grade Fever Post Bilateral Knee Surgery?

I have a low grade fever- about 100- 5 weeks after bilateral knee surgery. I dont appear to have any major redness or nflamation around my knees. The temp is something new- i havent been eating very well or drinking and i even wondered if im a little dehydrated. Is a low temp like this normal in the recouperation process?

Hello
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
It might be due to operations also or due to minor unknown infections.
Consult your doctor and do the lab tests like ESR, CBC etc to rule out ant infections because after such a major surgeries, post operative infections chances are more though you have taken antibiotics properly.
At and after operations your immunity becomes low so such things happen some times but don't worry it is not the major issue.
Take pulses, eggs more, will help you increase your immunity.
Take vitamin C powder from supplements for healing.
Have healthy life ahead.
Take care and get well soon...
