Is It Normal To Have Nausea And Back Pain Because Of Contraception Implant?
I have the contraception implant, had it inserted back on November 2013,but since iv been having lower back pain, gained a rounded belly and sleep loads more and have nausea. The question i have is dose the implant effect the hormones in blood test for pregnancy test as iv had pregnancy test and blood test which both state that in not pregnant. Iv been told to see the doctor when i should be 17 weeks by the should i feel movement?
An implant should usually not interfere with pregnancy tests, but can easily influence a menstrual cycle resulting in irregularity and symptoms similar to those explained by you. I would either way advise a pregnancy test as it is protocol to always rule out pregnancy in cases with a delayed period.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
