Is It Normal To Have Nausea And Loss Of Appetite While On Myteka?
i am taking myteka as prescribed by my doctor for flu and cold. i get chest congestion every year. so this year the doctor asked me to take myteka for one month one tab nightly. i am not feeling very good. bit of nausea and loss of appetite. is this normal.what to do?thanks a lot.ejaz mian
Myteka is usually prescribed by doctors for difficulty breathing due to flucold or allergy. There are certain adverse effects of it although nausea is very less likely related to its use. Loss of appetite might or might not be related to it.
I suggest, if this keeps on increasing then stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor, if needed he might alter the medicine or add anti-emetic medication for relief. Also take the medicine as per the doctor's instructions, do not alter the dosage without consulting your doctor.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
