Is It Normal To Have Pain Around Navel After Salpingo Oophorectomy Surgery?

I have pain near around my navel and between the navel and the incision two weeks after laparoscopic unilateral salpingo-oophorectomy. I bought a binder and it feels better with the binder, just wondering if this is normal or something that I should see my surgeon about. I went to my GP for a post-op check up and she found nothing. I called my surgeon s PA and she said it s the internal stitches and that two week pain after surgery is normal. I m just worried because it s an intense stabbing, burning, and pulling pain.
