Is It Normal To Have Severe Pain Around Injection Site?
Yes, I am concerned. My sister has been admitted with a diagnosis of right frontal lobe menigioma. She's never been sick or had any indications of neurological changes. The doctor ordered and the nurse administered Decadron 10 mg IV push. During the administration of the medication, my sister complained of pain in the injection sight and throughout her body. Is this normal??

GENERALLY INTRAVENOUS DECADRON IS NOT PAINFUL-IF YOUR SISTER FEEL PAIN DO NOT WORRY SHE IS ADVISED ICE PACKS AT INJECTION SITE SHE WILL BE ALRIGHT WITHIN 3-4 DAYS.THANKS
