Is It Normal To Have Throat Pain After The Removal Of Tonsils?

Hi; I got my tonsils removed last year, And my troat hurts. Its kind of a pulling motion at the same time like a pitching sensation! but deep down its pain....weridand the middle thing is RED as ever....like dark redd......what is that or is this normal?

Chronic tonsilitis can also be associated with pharyngitis.Tonsillectomy doesnt cure pharyngitis.Take warm salt water gargles,avoid cold drinks,smoking,cut down alcohol.If doesnt get relieved by these measures consult your doctor.
