Is It Normal To Have Visible Pulse In Neck Of A Child?
I am seeing visible pulse on my 3.5 yrs old daughters neck and it s faster than normal during her sleep. I would like to know what cause this? Last month she got hospitalised for phenomena fever. During that time we noticed this kind of visible pulse. Please advise

Feeling of pulse in neck of child is generally a normal phenomenon and does not linked with any disease.
It could be because this pulsation Feeling is due to the forceful passing of blood through the carotid artery in neck and which is a big artery.
Sometimes such pulsations could be due increased anxiety level in the or may be hyperthyroidism but that should be further evaluated.
at present,if this visible pulsations occur frequently then you need to see doctor to rule out above causes otherwise there is no need to worry.
