Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Should I be worried that I can sometimes see my pulse (right eye only, and typically only at work, where I spend a lot of time looking at a computer screen)? And is the fact that I have tinnitus/can hear my pulse in my left ear related and/or a concern?
Thank you for you question! Regarding your concern it seems that all that background is a consequence of an over-stressful work; to think about your complains they should have been mostly unilaterally localized, in order to be typical for an organic disorder of your head blood vessel (like artero-venous fistulas). Nevertheless I advice you to find ways during your job for alleviating your prolonged and forced position before a monitor; and of course to CONSULT A NEUROLOGIST for a physical neurological exam and if suspicions are raised to perform an angio CT scan of your cranial blood vessels. Hope to have been helpful to you. Greetings from Dr. Iliri.
