Had Stapedectomy Surgery In The Ear. Given Local Anasthesia. Hearing Heart Beat Sound In Operated Ear. Reason?

Hello, I had my left ear stapedectomy surgery just two days ago on February 7th 2013. My doctor gave me local anesthesia . Right after the surgery I started hearing heart beating sound in my operated ear. Before the operation I never heard a heart beating sound in any of my ears. I want to ask you, is it normal to hear a heart beating sound in the operated ear? I had my right ear stapedectomy surgery exactly one year ago. I did not hear a heart beating sound after the operation of my right ear. Now I can hear very, very well with my right ear. I will visit my doctor on February 18th 2013 to have removed the packing of my left ear. Thank you.

I read your query regarding hearing your heart sound in stapedectomy operation, you are in doubt weather it is normal or not. Here I would like t tell you whenever local anesthesia is given with Adrenalin 2% than there appears increase heart rate which makes every one to identify heart rate and this sound is also heard by conduction of sound.
