Is It Normal To Take Time To Empty The Bladder?

I was diagnosed with sciatic pinched nerve severe lower back pain shooting down my legs only comfort is laying on back hurts when I cough now and seems like when I go to pee takes long time for me to urinate. Is that normal have lower back Mri tommorrow

If you are taking more then usual time to empty the bladder , it is not normal. In elderly male due to prostate enlargement , urine related problem develop. It indicate some pathology in genitourinary system. You should go to surgeon becoz a diagnosis us made after relevant h/o taking and examination along with investigation.
